If you are bying AMD, go with a Phenom X6.

not gonna comment on the rig being bad/cheap, you should buy what you can afford.

that being said, why would you put a micro atx in an atx case. Either save space by buying a small case or get more option with a atx mobo.

Performance improvement: between 40% to 70% improvement depending upon the APU so spending aroung 40$ more is certainly worth it!
