A lot of people are having this error upon connecting and can't get in cause of it, any idea what could cause it?

 

This started occuring after updating the server to 118.

Well, a temporary solution would be setting sv_maxping 0.

Yeah, had it at 999 but guess disabling it entirely is the way to go. It works for now, so thank you.

Having the same issue. Some sort of bug in the latest update - no way a ping of 46 should quality as anything but "low ping".

Apparently it may be something to do with the pre-auth. 1 step forward and 2 steps backwards.

Servers fault.

 

Every server admin should add "sv_maxping 0" to their config
