hi

i live in israel and have a 20m/b internet and wean i used to play on alteriwnet mw2 i had alot of servers with 100 ping on them

but now that i play in here mw3i rarly have servers with less then 150 and even on servers that are owned by guys from my area i have 200 ping

i was wondring if you can halp me with a solution and if the problem is in the game side or mine and how i can improve it

same thing happening to me. 3 months ago, my ping (Malaysia) was 120 and below but after taking a sabbatical from MW3 and started again recently, the ping is higher(250ms) and dedi servers that i used to play on has 0 players in em. It's like ppl stopped playing. Is there like a better newer IW5 on the scene or are ppl moving to BO2.

maybe there are not many servers near you guys?

there are times (randomly i think) were i got a whole lot of 120 ping servers tho

(not sure if new servers or same as before)

First, close all applications like skype, steam, msn, etc..

Second, dont use connect using wifi and also turn off wifi on your router (there maybe someone stealing your internet)

It's more of the game's fault than yours.

I have somewhat of the same issue, though my increase in latency (as reported by the game) increased about 40ms rather than 100 going from IW3 and IW4 to IW5.

IW5 passes more information along than IW4 does (weapon sway being chief among them- IIRC, IW4 nor IW3 transmits sway data), so your response time is going to be worse.

 

so be happy and know that even though your ping is higher, you will have the advantage over almost everyone there.

i had pings less than 100 with my older network but now i have about 120-150. changing your network will definitely work. also try opening your ports and disabling internet firewall.
