i keep on getting frozen right after the command box thing goes away and when i go back to start it says "error small_box_lightfx not found"

IW4M works with Windows 8.The problem your having is caused by either a missing or damaged .iwd file.

I'm currently on a phone, when i get on a computer i'll tell you what .iwd file to redownload.

Ok it said that the 21 or 22 .iwd file might be missing but i copied and pasted it from someone elses IW4 on their windows 7 pc but pm me with help plz (:
