Okay well, I quit for 4 months and when I came back I was playing Black Ops 2 and what not, and my friend asked me to play 4d1 and I said sure, so I re downloaded 4D1, and logged in fine. I played last night, and this morning and all of a suddon I started to lag, and it crashed on me. I tried to open it again and it was getting my rank and stuff and it wouldn't go back to by 9th Prestige Lvl 70, and it stayed at Lvl 1. When I tried to open it again, it gave me the error, "cannot find specified location error" box, so I deleted and re downloaded 4D1 again.. but this time it wouldn't log me in, I knew for a fact that it was the right login. After a couple of hours of re downloaded and installing 4D1 it still wouldn't work, my friend told me to re install MW2 and I did, and that didn't do anything. We searched and searched if anyone had the same problem and no one that I could find did. He's telling me to re install steam but I don't want too because of all my games, and I don't feel like backing up everything. Oh, and the error says, "Wrong username/password". I even changed the password of my main account, and that didn't work either. Then I made a new account, and that didn't do anything either. Please help, me and my friend have been trying to do this for the past 6 1/2 hours.. we've tried everything.

MW2 Folder, and 4D1 Folder

Remove iw4m.dll in your game folder and caches.xml in the IW4M folder. It seems like you've been trying third-party clients which seem to overwrite your game files.
