(another pc issue weeeee)

So my dad bought himself a new computer and windows 8 for christmas, he put windows 8 on a 120gb ssd. recently it has been showing that he only has 4gb of space left on it(in the explorer), but when he runs folder size, it shows only 40gb.

we have been trying to figure out whats causing it to say it has no space, or what is taking up the space, but have had no luck.

hes already ran a virus scan, and defrag.

any ideas?

 

Edit: problem solved....it was Windows Search Indexing taking up all the space, cause on windows 8 it doesnt follow the limit you set on it

Oh, so he does that too. I doubt it will get him far though, not with that behaviour. I cross the line often, but it would be a bit hypocritical if I would get banned because I insulted someone who does the same. It's either we both get banned, or none of us.
