How about banning players by HDD id? It should be told in public if it is added or else players will start finding a way around it.

 

any hwid can be (at the very least) patched by kernel hooks

 

There's your answer. Wasn't XUID based on that at one point anyway?

    Fact is, most kids didn't know how to change their XUID. That's why they all came crying to get an unban. Despite the system wasn't infalible, it was way better (in terms of bypassing) than the current one.

     

    I'll just wait for aCI3 and see what happens.
