1 month ago I bought GTX560 Ti Sonic 1GB and 2 weeks ago my friend bought GT630 2GB. We both have the same CPU's - AMD Athlon II 640 3.0Ghz. We tried to run Assassin's Creed III and on my computer which GPU is 3x faster is getting lag in boston. But he does'nt have any drop of fps. Why is this happening to me? Also another friend bought GT 640 and he gets no lag too. Please give me solution for this.

Your CPU bottlenecks that GPU so much, you don't have much more power than their cards. Also, what settings are you and your friends playing the game at?

We both tried Lowest settings and the highest. It stays the same - he has no lag, I have.

Hmm, how about RAM? That's important too.

Also, what about update version and crack type, that can influence FPS too.

What about graphichs drivers? Make sure u have the latest one for ur card.

you do know everyone gets lag in Boston even people with gtx690 and people with 7990 they are working on a patch for the fix look it up....

I have the latest nvidia drivers 310.90 and I have 8GB of RAM and he has 4GB

I didn't get any. Max settings, and GPU is only an HD5870

don't worry, 70% of PC gamers get that problem, I do, too, with a med-high end laptop I can run Black Cops 2 at max settings, and Skyrim at high settings etc, I thought it was a bug on my end but then I just figured that it was the shittiest AC port since ACI. derp.

Not really, I plaxed AC3 at max settings, and it ran faster than ACII (and Brotherhood, Revelations)

it's not so apparent when you get 25fps by default. you just get used to it

I never noticed any lag in Boston. I was on a i5 3570K at stock, 8GB 1866 RAM, and a 5770. I think that the cpu is the OPs problem anyways

maybe the recent 1.02 patch fixed it
