i want to test mw3 4d1 dedicated server on my computer (windows 7 ) before i run it in VPS .

problem : i can't see my server in server list but my friends can see and join !!!

please help . what should i do to fix this ?

Your router can't process a query on it's own IP. Get a better one (that's what I did) if you want to see your own servers on the list.

I am also new, but the fact is I don't get any errors, yet I can't see my server in the server list. I have forwarded all my ports, set the correct parameters, and edited my dsr and cfg files correctly. When I run the shortcut this is what comes out.

I also tried connecting in console and was stuck at a connecting... screen until i would hit the escape button.

 

 

EDIT: I've now been able to connect to my server using the game_port rather than the net_port in the console. Perhaps now we can limit the problem down maybe?

You are using your Internal IP Address to connect,

Also disable any antivirus/firewall programs running.

I am using my internal IP Address yes, and I have no antivirus and windows firewall is disabled. I am able to use the console to connect now using the game_port but am still having trouble with it not showing up on the server list.
