I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one watching All Your History Are Belong To Us on Machinima here, so I'll bring up the discussion here.

 

Chris Lockey DESTROYED the show. Whoever in Machinima ever thought of making the show "popular" by getting a "popular" guy to be the narrator, should just stay away from doing any changes to anything. The show has been EXACTLY THE SAME for about 3.5 years now. Same narrator, sometimes backups, but they don't mess it up as much. Same way of presenting the show. Same type of quiet music, which doesn't draw as much of your attention to it and lots of other things. All of the minor details that you didn't notice before, you do notice it now. It's a close to perfect show, even though I want every part to be 3 times as long because it's very interesting. Now, for you to compare, here's the first to the latest with the old layout and the new layout with the new narrator.

I can also say other things that are horrid. The intro is like it's own part, it doesn't end with a segway into the main part, which it does almost every time with the old narrator. The speed and random "long" pauses that doesn't contain anything interesting is also something stupid. The old narrator does that too, but only on the end to conclude the episode or the entire "history". Also, this "new" guy promotes himself both in the start and the end. LIKE I CARE ABOUT YOUR SHITTY TWATTER AND SHITTUBE.

 

Maybe I'm ignorant, but same as every change, "i'll get used to it". Uh, no, as I can go back and watch the old videos whenever I want, because those will never go away. So I can remind myself of how rubbish the new show is.

And you'll probably think "omg guise this is his first time doing this, it will be better!!!", but no, people doesn't change. And if they say that the old narrator is on a vacation, THEN THEY SHOULD'VE PUT THE SHOW ON VACATION.
