Yeah, as I posted this, went into a server and I have seen in the right upper corner it says "health : 50" but it was softcore. Man that is shit! They should kinda set it in the server name so that we can know.

Man, I feel like no one is playing obj game modes, just tdm and most of them are these 50hp servers, dome and terminal mostly (at least in my region). I feel like "if" the matchmaking gets into IW5M there would be more variety.

I don't see the point in joining a server with 0 players and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks like that.

That's why those unpopular servers will never have any players.

Matchmaking is bad, people forget about cheats and host advantage...and also don't forget dedis are hosted most usually on real servers, while in matchmaking the host might have poor pc and poor connection.

Maybe I'm old school, but IMO server hosts created servers either because they wanted their own server (obvious), or they were tired of playing in servers that didn't suit their wants/needs. I've been playing CoD since the beginning and there will never be any CoD better than 2 and 4...had a lot to do with the modding capabilities(2), 4 didn't need any modding to be good. There was no console-like matchmaking...that's the whole point to me and it's what made them better.

I don't understand why anyone would want matchmaking on the pc, unless they couldn't host a server that people would join so they have to force-play.

Matchmaking is just so vanilla.

Matchmaking is a crappy concept that ATVI tried to sell, to make the pc version as shitty as the console's, to be able to sell the game on the consoles.

Seriously, who would want to play on the consoles, when the pc version had dedis with mods support?

That's their $$$ logic. They have to screw up the pc version to be able to sell on consoles.
