before the auto updater i used to need to use 'r_subwindow -1.75 2.75 -0.25 1.25' to be able to play properly with eyefinity. But now i can't use it because cheat protected dvars are blocked. Would it be possible to add eyefinity support to the game for players with eyefinity? Such as, auto detect triple monitor resolutions like 5760x1080?

 

for that resolution i found the dvar r_subwindow -1.75 2.75 -0.25 1.25 to work quite well

PLEASE do this, I use NVidia surround and I can't use it on FD1 because widescreen fixer don't work.

I've just emailed the creator of the program, he updated his program last time I asked him for aIW support, he may do the same now for 4D1. No promises though.

I personally don't play like this, but I can really see this as an issue that should be fixed.

With the previous patch i could use all the cheat protected Dvars. That's with a steam install and the files that fourdeltaone supplied. See it for yourself.

 

I didn't use any mods or anything but i tried r_subwindow and i could edit it. Only since the update have i been unable to use any of the dvars.

Soooo is there anyfix on this cause i really wanna play this on surround

It should be possible to use Widescreen Fixer with the version set to 1.0.159, if that option is available.
