hey, so i've been playing 4d1 for a while now with everything working fine- but suddenly in this last week or so i cannot load any mods into my game. Playing online works fine, but trying to run RSE for example just crashes the game and gives me the error 'DivX encountered an unrecoverable error'

it seems to be every mod i try and load which is annoying. I've downloaded the latest version of DivX and my Graphics Card is updated

Maybe the error occures on some specific map?

i meant DirectX, i either get that error or 'failed init after feedbackSampler'

 

i've tried running windowed and all maps, still with the same result- a black screen and an error

I would recommend setting all texture settings to automatic and if not then set them all to low. This is usually caused by not having enough memory on your video card. Which prompts me to ask you what card you have, as well as if your drivers/DirectX are up to date.

i'll try that when i get home, i'm running an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 [512mb] and both the drivers for that and my divx are up to date.

update- i've done that and still the same problem?
