Ok so im trying to load an old portal mod I used back in alter. I have the portal.iwd in my mods folder, then i go ingame go to mods double click portal it minimizes my game then reloads it. Im assuming that "loaded" the mod? Then I try to start a private match to test it. It shows the maps loading screen then boom i get this [attachment=0]iw4m.exe 2012-5-24-13-51-18-623.jpg[/attachment] What am i doing wrong? Do i still need to load them useing fs_game?

No. For now try putting JUST THE IWD in your m2demo folder. Then start a regular private match w/o using the mods launcher.

No. For now try putting JUST THE IWD in your m2demo folder. Then start a regular private match w/o using the mods launcher.

 

Cool that worked. So whats the point in the mod menu? Or is that going to be fixed soon?

Well, like it has been said before here, that m2demo method isn't recommended.
