Everytime I try to watch back my demos i get the error "Lost connection to host" .. I even opened a demofix for the sake of it.. and THAT WORKED? But any other demo's dont? ive tried the Demofix then the demo way even tho i know you dont have to. and i have just tried it normally.. but everytime.. "Lost connection to host"

 

anyone know the fix?

1. Use the latest revision

2. Make you are using a new recorded demo, old ones dont work

3. Also make sure that you /stoprecord it

LoL, by me the demos from 2days ago are working but the demos from today not...

 

I tried it with stoprecord and without both dont work...

Still happening over and over again, even with a demofix. Seems like the only demos that work fine are the ones taken in promod or on maps like oilrig or burgertown for some odd reason. I really hope to see it fixed at some point...

only demos from 4d1 servers (without green [*] mark in hostname) are working. Check serverlist filter to remove legacy servers.

Simply Make sure you're not playing on a legacy server (aRev)

And example if u recorded on terminal

do

/devmap mp_terminal;disconnect

then try /demo you'redemonamehere

and if u dont want slowmotion simply ''timescale 1.0'' with out the ''

I got my dem on WZ's skidrow server, IT does NOT have a green *, And wtf is a legacy server? and why can't we record demos on them? will this ever be fixed? and why fix(BREAK!) something that isn't broken?
