I have a question and a suggestion here

my question is , is this logic true ?

 

XUID = Hex (Forum UserID)

GuID = Decimal ( 1100001000<>XUID(HEX 5 Digits) )

 

For example if the profile page is /memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=12345 therefore the forum UserID will be 12345 , and the Xuid (hex) will be 3039

 

So the GuID (hex) will be 110000100003039 which in decimal would be 76561197960278073

now the question , isn't this too simple ? I mean everyone with a Memory Editor program could easily change the XuID and join anywhere and hack any MW3 server (b3 + login is an exeption ofcourse)

wouldn't It be better If GuID was made from Exact name in ASCI + XuID ?

yep it's a bug and too easy to change it

Login system works well and gives you GuID & Xuid but the problem is , XuID can be changed easily ... then It results the GuID to change , then you can join a server using the Admin's XuID and GuID and Crash It down ...

 

 

GuID right now only depends on Forum UserID as I mentioned above and not the Player name ...

Compared to iw4m, iw5m has very little possibilities to get more advanced.

 

Do note that IW4M is the most prominent project.

2-Memory Address 05A7B1D8 & 05CE8220 (in Iw5m.dat process) are responsible for xuid

3-xuid is stored in memory like this : 01100001000( Hex(Forum UserID) in 5 Digits ) which is equal to 01100001(Hex (Forum UserID) in 8 Digits) [8 Bytes Hexadecimal]

4-one can easily change his xuid while connecting to a server , and nobody really cares about this here ...

so , is it hard to create a new account ? even if GUID is Generated from Anywhere else ... you still be able to Change it..

also yea ALL Clients GUIDs are stored in Game's memory while playing ingame.. (You Can easily get it..)

If you can't use b3 login, it's not our problem.
