But jailbreak is not good in leght ?

The only sense I could find is that jaillbreak is not good in the long run, and if that's what you're trying to say, I must tell you you're wrong. It's a software modification on a frequently updated OS, so there's nothing to lose.

Your hardware doesn't suffer, and even if your software does get messed up, it's most likely your fault, and it can always be restored from backup, so yeah, nothing to lose at all.

I'm still running jailbroken iOS 4.3.3 (yeah, I know, old) for about 2 years now, and I don't have plans to update it as long as it runs. Jailbroken the day I installed that iOS version, never had to restore it, runs perfectly all the time.

Hardware is not destroyed but the software can be destroyed -system-

Only if you are careless with Cydia apps, the kernel patches are not buggy anymore(, if they've ever really been besides breaking debugging features). The biggest disadvantage is still the fact that a jailbreak bypasses all security features of iOS(it's the intention lol). If you can live with that and only download thoroughly tested packages you should and will be fine.

It does not matter how old the jailbreak is on the phone or version of the iPad you have. It has mostly to do with which generation of device you have.

Nope. It hasn't got anything to do with that.

Also, you may just backup your device(and move that backup to somewhere where iTunes won't touch it to be safe), and you'll be fine in 99% of the cases.

Ok that may be true, but jailbreak is not so smooth and safe for all phones and devices yet. Here in Sweden many people got big problems after jailbreaking an iPhone 4s.

Simply because they are doing it wrong. ;) For example, AppSync currently causes a LOT of problems on iOS 6(just check out syslog and you will ask yourself how the device manages to still work with that piece of shit), but it does not keep all the people looking for cracked apps away from installing it anyway.

Ok, But is it safe to safe to do it on a iPad 4 ?

The current jailbreaking procedure is safe on all supported devices including the iPad 4. Just make sure to backup your files in case anything goes wrong. You can't damage your hardware and will always be able to restore so don't worry. AppSync on the other hand is currently horrible and you should definitely stay away from installing it if you want to have a working iPhone(it won't damage your iPhone either but you will have to restore it again to get rid of its problems).

Things do not always work as it should after a jailbreak.

Yes, the software can be destroyed, but just like I said earlier, restoring from backup is painless.

The default OS things works as they should after Jailbreak, only thing that might not work are some Cydia apps that didn't get updated, but you wouldn't even have those without jailbreak.

Again, you just repeated what I saod, I know it has nothing to do with how long the device has been jaillbroken. I thought you were the one saying "But jailbreak is not good in leght ?" which I assmed meant that Jailbreak is not good in the long run. My bad.

Use f.lux - pretty good addon from Cydia, makes using your iDevice at night much more enjoyable.
