my mw2 not updating even when i downloaded the updater!!

help me my mw2 dosent updates even when i pase the files in the mw2 folder ! it simplly starts the game n gets stuck on Fetching playlists complete!!

the console says -- Want to show 'reset stats' confirmation for controller 0, stats source 0, reason 3, but aborting because we are at the main menu.
