-d3d9 launch parameter crash issue

This is causing me troubles. I need this to get the fps I want for easier jumps and such, but if I use this whenever I alt+tab I get a directx crash.

 

Any fix other than accepting lower fps?

    I run the game on a wiener laptop so I either run the game in 1024x768 or 800x600 on a bad day so windowed mode is tiny.

     

    Also just tried the other two fixes from lmaobox(Aero was already enabled), neither had an effect.

    Configure browser push notifications
