Hey i just downloaded Mw3 from a youtube video

and i followed all the steps and when i run the game it says

 

Error During Initialization:

Couldn't load fileSysCheck.cfg. Make sure Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 3

is run from the correct folder

 

Please help me

Your either missing iw_00.iwd or its corrupted.

Redownload the corrupted files using this method

I downloaded the iw_00.iwd and placed it in the steam apps MW3 folder and it still said the same thing

You need to place in in MW3/main/ folder

yes, Inside that folder, there should be another folder called "main'" and that is where all the .iwd files are located.

Still wont work i replaced it and tried to start it up again and it still said the same thing?

You're either missing a lot of files, or they are broken. I'd advise you to fix your game instal with hldsut.exe (common errors topic, #37.)
