There are so many of them. Everybody seems to be a fucking programmer these days. Tutorials and online stuff makes it so easy to learn it. Wondering whether its worth to choose this in uni. It is damn scary to think of a world with so many programmers. Will there even be programming jobs left in future?

 

What do you guys think? Is the demand of programmers going to decrease in future? How many of you know basic programming?

No, the demand can only increase, but the problem is it could take many years for some less advanced countries, and by then you'll have much more schooled programmers too.

 

So basically, there'll be more working programmers, but less open work places.

A lot. But you need to know a lot more than "basic programming" to get a job in the field.

Some IT with a course of programming? Yes.

Here, yes.

In general everywhere else, no.
