Its not that hard. OpenWRT is a very powerful and usefull piece of firmware, even though it is a tad bit more complicated. 1. Find your mac address 2. Assign a static local ip to your pc Go under Network -> DHCP and DNS 3. Go under Network -> Firewall Scroll down till you get to redierections add a redirection 4. Enjoy WIth OpenWrt the possibilites are almost endless

It should be good enough for casual gaming, which from what you have posted it going to be what it is primarily used for.
