Well if somebody has enough time, then why not. But which engine would it use?

 

Also this thread inspired me to find my NFSU disk and install the game again, then patch it so it gets 1080p resolution, installed this texture mod:

looks awesome...never used that texture mod, but i have used the 1080p patch on nfsu2

 

Original quality isnt that new. I think its for resolutions above 1080p.

Define 'normal'.

 

And you never know, people can do amazing things.

 

Okay, normal was the wrong word, what I meant was people that have the ability to mode such things. People that actually know how to make games will not spend their time creating a fan made nfs. Those people have better things to do.

 

Those NFS games have been created by different teams, some of them do games for over 10 years, you can't expect some people to make a better game in their free time than those professionals that get paid for making games.

 

And as someone else already said, which engine should they take? They can't just make their own engine in a few days and if they use someone else engine they have to pay for it.
