this config. looks good but you might think about upgrading the CPU maybe (to an i5 or an i7)

is that 4 gigs of Ram are DDR3? if yes than it's good for some time, if not then get more ram! (then upgrade to more ram!)

Yup. I know a guy, who knows an importer, who knows an IT Expert who was making ar rig from spare part he had and we settled at 230 for everything but the GPU. The GPU itself costs 70$.

 

Also the i5K adds like 100$, and if I can't overclock it, I won't be upgrading it anytime soon. Also what do you think will happen w/ BF3?

Also note how all the parts have not been used before, excluding the case, which is still in a good condition.

bf3 should run at 30-60fps - minimum settings, 1280x720 I guess

That's actually not bad at all, not sure is it worth $300 because I am not aware of your local prices, but the rig itself is fine and should play new games. You won't be able to play at max setting and full resolution with that GPU, but you can always upgrade it when you have more money.

 

Also, only correction I recommend is buying 8GB of RAM, if it's DDR3 than the RAM is dirt cheap, you literally won't feel the difference in price, but you will feel the performance increase.

Because you can get much better for the same price? The Superlux HD 681 should be around €20,- in Greece, Superlux HD 668B if you want something more neutral.

ah i get it. then i think you should save a little more to get a better graphic card, I would suggest HD 6770.
