I'm sorry if I'm on the wrong topic but I finally manage to use custom router on my fiber optic connection (My ISP won't allow people to use custom routers. IDK why) After hours of workaround trying to make the IPTV and dumping my PPPoE username and pass (pass is randomly generated), I finally have internet access. The only problem here is to Port Forward/enable DMZ. I couldn't find a way to do it. I don't understand anything on OpenWRT's Wiki

 

This is my setup:

Its not that hard. OpenWRT is a very powerful and usefull piece of firmware, even though it is a tad bit more complicated.

 

1. Find your mac address

 

2. Assign a static local ip to your pc

Go under Network -> DHCP and DNS

 

3. Go under Network -> Firewall

Scroll down till you get to redierections

add a redirection

 

4. Enjoy

 

 

WIth OpenWrt the possibilites are almost endless
