in my cfg file i have cg_fov 90, but in game 80 and I type in the console cg_fov 90 and after die it again become 80, it is the same problem with fovscale, i have checked read-only, but nothing, how can i fix it :?

Well, it's normal, sadly. Binding doesn't necessarily work, so i'm not really sure how to workaround it(maybe autohotkey script that would type '~cg_fov 90' when certain button is pressed

What do you mean it doesn't work? Like you can't do "Bind Z cg_fov 90?"

Hmm, I've never had this issue. You could try setting cg_fovscale to something like 1.1, or 1.2, however, this will reduce the size of the gun when you aim down the sight!

It doesn't reduce the size of the gun

It increases adsfov multiplying it by cg_fovscale value

 

And as OP said, it doesn't stick
