you can playback legacy demos on a legacy client (makes since doesn't it?) although there are many more errors in the legacy clients than are reasonable to be able to record with.

for those who are not smart that means use the aRev client to playback the demos recorded on aRev servers.

Weren't demos completely unplayable in the IW4M1 days...? (Except for the DLC2 maps) They didn't do anything whatsoever for as far as I know.

On their m2 servers... not m1 servers.... if you played on their m1 servers then it is as good as gone.
