In that case you need to stop running alteriwnet. aIW is DEAD. You must get a fresh install (or aIW but it seems you cant understand how) and then install IW4M.

it should work if you download the installer and updater and do it correctly.

Go and delete iw_25.iwd from /main/ , delete anything that says aIW or alteriwnet etc., download the client installer, select your location of your MW2, and after its done launch via the start menu short cut.

i deleted everything alteriw related and the iw_25 but it still doesnt work

My friend was also having this problem. It's one of the .dll's, ToolBox take a pic of your .dll folder and put it up here. MoMan delete all .dll files that are not in the picture ToolBox or someone else provides. *I can't do it since I'm using my school's laptop *

I think you should accept Replace warning.

Download and put IW4M.exe to game folder from here.

 

then download this (updater)

iw4m/dsut.zip

 

put 2 files in zip to game folder

 

run iw4m_updater wait until it finishes update

 

run iw4m.exe

 

Always select 1st choice to replace files. Unless you will have 2 files for ex: iw4m and iw4m (2)

Nah... This is just regular "Need to know how to install" Stuff. Its easy. Same thing as installing iw4m.
