Standard resolution is 800x600, so I change it to 1920x1080 and clicked apply. Bam, black screen. I tried other resolutions aswell but always get a black screen, the fuck?

I get an error: 'feedbacksampler is invalid', still not helping me though since Google can't even find results.

Post a screenshot of your MW2 folder, and your error, tell us your OS, and the steps you did.

Try editing it through your config_mp.cfg instead of through game

The problem wasnt the black screen, it was the error message behind it. We need a fix for his ERROR.
