Hi all!

Sorry for my english. I've opened this topic for asking how to change name in game without creating a new account on 4d1. Well, I listened about a modification of iw4m.dll for setting name and clan tag without write ingame memory. I can open dll, but I don't know what change will I modify for setting name.

Can someone post his custom dll with a random nick? I want to modify name finding it in dll and then change it. Before answer, it's possible do this? Thanks for answer.

I have my custom clientdll with name-changing and some other features, but i also translated much stuff to russian (because russian is my language), so i think it'll not be comfortable for you to play.

How the hell is a name changing DLL necessary if it's already changable via the UCP?

i prefer alterIWnet style...

also, as this doesn't touch your profile name, you still can use original name in IW5M and other 4d1's projects.

I preferr the name changing method in DLL aswell. It keeps things much more easier and cleaner, than having to change your whole FourDeltaOne account username, you can have your desired Name in-game and still have your 4d1 name untouched. Hopefully NTA might release this in future updates :)

The complete oppsite will happem, DLL changes won't be possible any more and the name will only can only be altered in the UCP.
