You dont need a mod to play them.

I'm not sure what this "alteriwnet offline" thing is, but I suppose it's some kind of custom server loading for the old aIW (aka M1).

 

The old aIW did not have "custom maps" support, so you'll get the error "A mod is required for custom maps." if you try to load it.

You can't, I repeat, you can't load custom maps on this "alteriwnet offline". You'll have to download 4D1 if you want to play on the "custom maps". No "mod" can change this, despite what the console says.

Is because aRev use the old aiw client(only modified)

I think he means playing a private match with the new maps.

As for that, I think you can use the console command

/map  

to launch it in a private match.

 

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
