Hey guys, I recently created a Dedi server.

I have configured it perfectly, everything works except the "games_mp.log"

I have

set g_logSync "1" // 1 = always flush games_mp.log, 0 = only flush on game end

set g_log "games_mp.log" // game log file

In my server.cfg file but the game is not writing the games_mp.log file, I need the log file to make B3 work on my server. Please help me solve my problem

If you're running a mod the games_mp.log is in your mod folder.

If not it should be in your main folder.

So you have b3.xml setup with this line?

*your server installation*/m2demo/games_mp.log

 

That should work. If there really is no games_mp.log in your m2demo folder, try setting logfile to 2.

I have no mods running, I've already checked m2demo folder, and yes I have setup the b3.xml.

I'll try putting log sync to 2 and report

 

EDIT: I tried putting log syn to 2 but still its not generating games_mp.log

Are you running iw4m.exe? Can you paste your shortcut parameters and server config (in code tags) here for us to look at?

I am launching the server using LaunchIW4M.exe and the parameters I'm using are :

I:\Games\MW2\1Mw2-Server\LaunchIW4M.exe +set party_maxplayers 18 +set net_port 28961 +exec server.cfg +map mp_rust +map_rotate -dedicated

 

and I don't have iw4m.exe in the folder.

Rename iw4m.dat to iw4m.exe, then run that instead.
