Okay so thanks to NTAuthority i recently got up my server. Now i moved on with my next challenge of running b3. I setup mysql and python and all the prerequisites from b3. Im on Linux CentOS 5.

 

This is what happened when i try to launch b3 using this command:

./b3_run.py /home/mark/4D1-iSnipe-SnD/b3/conf/b3.xml

 

Output:

CRITICAL: Cannot find parser 'cod6'. Check you main config file (b3.xml)
B3 failed to start.

Okay i changed the parser to cod4? Now it works but i get alot of errors...im wondering if that is because its not a CoD4 server or if i need to fix some stuff... here is the log:

Why are you using such an old B3 version?

yeah I needed to update to Python 2.6 so that I could run the latest version of b3. I've been working on updating it so that I can attempt to run it without errors. Am I doing the right thing by running it under the cod4 parser? Because like I said when I try to run it under cod6 parser it said cod6 parser not found

Use the cod6 parser. You need a newer version.

If anyone can help me with installing python 2.6 onto a centos 5 vps, then that would be very helpful. i really would like some help with this

Do you have Teamviewer and is the server set up for SSH access? If so i can help by remoting into the system and get it updated. and help you get B3 online.
