Please note that usernames must be between 3 and 20 chars long and use alphanumeric, space or - + _ [ ] | characters. Please also note that changing your forum username does not enable an aCI ban to be removed. Also, no colors are allowed (^3nickname). No pre-/suffixes like 4D1, 1233, FDO etc. allowed, we know you play on our server..

If you feel the need to append a Clan Tag to your name, use this viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2380 Don't bother us with it, you can do it yourself.

If you were so impatient that you could not wait for us to change your name, and created another account in the meantime, at least have the decency to remove the post here.

 

If you have made a second account under your new name and want that second account removed, please make two posts, one with your original account stating which account you want removed, and the new nickname that you want, and the second post with your new account, confirming that you are the owner of the second account.

 

You can use this link to check if your new username has been registered or not. Simply enter your wanted username, and press enter. If it says the requested user does not exist, then that username is available. If not, then don't bother posting a reply, that would only annoy us. A lot.

 

This is a lot of work, and takes up a lot of time, so please read the rules above carefully, and do not post when your name does not fit in these rules. Transgress these rules and consider yourself outlawed.

 

Moderators, delete the post if the request has been processed.

 

Lastly, just a side note: your iw4m.ini needs to be changed to match your new username, if you've ticked the Save User/Pass box.
