Complete List of Mod Features

 

1) Pointstreaks enabled. Like in the Specialist Strike Package mod, completing objectives such as bomb defusals, bomb plants, domination flag captures, etc. now count towards your next killstreak (pointstreak).

 

2) Pointstreaks loop. What this means is that each kill with a poinstreak reward counts towards the next reward in your strike chain. However, once you get to your third strike chain, your poinstreak resets and you can immediately start earning new rewards. However, kills from previous poinstreaks do not carry over into your next chain, IE you can't get a predator missile to get to a harrier to get to an AC-130 to get to another predator missile to get to another harrier to get to another AC130, etc. Once you finish using your AC-130, you must now get five NON-KILLSTREAK KILLS to obtain another predator so that you can run back through your strike chain. This prevents MASSIVE killstreak spam. Trust me, if this barrier wasn't in place, you would just loop through AC-130s endlessly. I spent an entire match looping through my strike chain without getting a single gun kill after my first predator while I was testing this mod...trust me...it's not fun for the other team.

 

3) An improved pointstreak meter is now implemented. Thanks goes to NoFate for this.

 

4) Nukes remain in place of MOABS. Nukes do not kill you or your teammates, but still end games, unlike the MOABs in my Specialist mod. The leverage that a nuke gives a team is a staple of MW2, so it is my desire to re-enable it contrary to my Specialist mod.

 

5) Increased ammo supply on spawn returns from my Specialist mod. One extra magazine will be added to your reserve supply on spawn.

 

6) RSE bots, like with the Specialist mod, are included. Some personal touches I have made to these bots include the limiting of their weapons choices (no different from the Specialist RSE bots) and the kills required for them to obtain pointstreaks (they are now equal to regular player requirements. Bots can no longer get nukes 8 kills earlier than players, for example).

 

Known Issues

 

1) Care package killstreaks appear to count towards pointstreaks. This must be patched back to normal.

 

2) If someone completes an objective and that point allows them to reach the requirement for a pointstreak reward, they will not receive that reward until they kill an enemy player.

 

Both of these bugs are being worked on at the moment, but for right now, I have deemed it reasonable to release V1.0 with the caveat that this is VERY MUCH SO a work still in progress. So please spare your expectations of perfection for a later date ;) Until then, enjoy!

I will not include the MW3 Combo mod with this mod, since it is easy to obtain a copy of that mod elsewhere already. I recall another user posted a link to said mod, so if you want, you can download it there, but there is no reason to attach it to this mod. Anyway, enough banter. Here you go!

It has already been merged. You should be able to activate the bots with the usual console commands.

Erm... what are the console commands? I just press 5 and spawn them in through the menu. >.<

/svr_bots # (spawns # of bots)

/svr_bots_team (valid options are "axis" or "allies")

/svr_bots_nuke (valid options are 0 or 1, 0 deactivates bot nukes, 1 enables them)

/svr_bots_streak (valid options are 0 or 1, 0 deactivates bot killstreaks, 1 enables them)

 

All these console commands can be found on the RSE bot mod forum thread.

Thanks for the mod, it is a lot of fun but every once in a while i get and error that crashes my game. I know it is the mod and not the game itself. The error says "a fatal error has happened, a new minidump was created" I dont really know what this means or how to fix it. Please help because the mod is awesome. :)
