While Oilrig and Burgertown, etc may be out of the bag, I think it would be more visually appealing and logical, from a commercial perspective, to start advertising ported SP/SO maps as free DLC content packs. One of IW4Ms core tenets is that it offers what is "officially" unavailable or unheard of. Free DLC is a myth in the world of Activi$ion...advertising free DLC, port or not, I think would turn a few heads if we were to start phrasing and presenting it in that fashion.
One of our community members is working on a port of "High Explosive" from SO to MP. Add a few new map ports, include my heavily-modified AI Zombies Extreme mod (called AI5, I'll release it soon), Zer0w's AND INHUMAN'S gold secondary camos, and the primary camos from the MW3 Combo Mod, and you can bill it as something like:
"IW4M Content Pack 2: 3 new MP maps, remastered zombies, and a slew of new weapon camos and skins!"
Basically, it would be a mod pack, just advertised in a professional, commercial format. Just a musing.
EDIT: Sorry for the spelling errors. That's what I get for trying to access the forums on my iTouch I guess >_<
