I use to advice people to always install the full game, then add DLC fastfiles and IWDs, and then run 4D1's updater.

That way you'll have the game, 4D1 extra maps fastfiles, the DLCs, and the updater to get it all running.

aIW's "MP-rip" doesn't contain the new (and eventually future) maps fastfiles.
