That was a relatively quick decision to fire him, did you [FlaccidCookie] have a chat with him about the incident?

 

Just out of interest, as I felt that the decision was somewhat harsh...

I spoke to both DidUKnowiPwn and yolarrydabomb earlier this morning and let him off with a warning, but FlaCCidCookie had already clearly stated to him via query that all tech supporters were under a 'trial period', and their conduct would determine whether they would pass recruitment. In addition, we will be recruiting people for the next week or so, and all members will probably be under inspection until the end of the month.

 

Although I think his incident today with yolarrydabomb and the user was rather unprofessional, I am now leaning towards the option of giving him a second chance. Despite having agreed earlier, upon further judgement of DidUKnowiPwn's prior actions, I think he should be reinstated under a probational agreement along with some sort of apology for the quick decision.

Just to make things clear, that whole incident was merely the well known straw. I have been actively looking after him, as he was the only one on a trial status, giving me enough time to monitor. I saw some posts that are not even appreciated when made by regular members, let alone a member of staff. Since they represent the whole staff and FourDeltaOne in general, it would be nice to have some level of maturity and patience with other users, which I found he lacked. But indeed, the incident and his firing are related, but it was not the sole cause. I hope I cleared that up.

 

On the note of rehiring, I personally do not agree, but if the rest of you want him back, tell me. However, please do take the above into consideration before making a decision.
