Hey all, im sorry if this is posten in the wrong place, but anyway my problem is as follows:

 

I start mw2 with the shortcut created by 4D1, then after about 10 seconds in the game, it freezes and i hear the error sound... so i alt-tabbed and took some screen shots. I would add them after this but i cant, so im gonna zip them for you

 

Also i have tried downloading iw_22.iwd and iw_23.iwd, but no dice (no success)

I download iw_20 to 23 and now the game works thanks.

 

ps. is a ping of 400+ normal XD

 

edit: i just noticed that when i try to join some servers it says something like i dont have mp_overgrown.ff or mp_storm.ff... if you could give me a link to download these + any other maps i need, You guys would be legends

Yes, since you don't have the DLCs.

Just 1 more problem... why is the ping for servers usually at 300+? because the lowest i see is 200 and highest 500.... on battlefeild most servers have a ping of about 50, maby 20 if im lucky. but anyway im loving playing online, but i dunno why everyone is apparantly a noob unless they quickscope headshot someone with a intervention sniper. COD4 is more friendly-er online.

Might just be that the dedicated servers are far away from you ?
