This mod is a combination of MW3's specialist strike package and a gungame, but everything is random. Every time you spawn, you receive:

 

• 
  a random gun
  3 random perks
  3 random killstreaks (w/o chopper gunner, ac130 and airdrops)
  

After every gun-kill you receive a new random gun. Every 2 (or 1, with hardline) kills you get the next perk in your list. At 8 (7) kills you get all perks.

I enjoyed playing it yesterday. Two suggestions:

 

- Could you make it so that getting a knife kill advances you too? My pc slows down considerably when the thermal overlay is on-screen, so I got stuck with an Intervention w/ thermal. :oops:

- Could you remove danger close from the random perks? It only benefits you when you've got a launcher, underslung grenade launcher or claymore. I suggest leaving it in as a final perk (8 kills), along with stopping power, so the player has to try his best to earn it.

 

Also, I really appreciate that you didn't enable the laser tracers like other gun game mods. So annoying! :evil:

Thanks for your suggestions. I still have a few bugs to fix so i'll consider to change those things. If you want to run the mod on your own server though, you can easily make those changes yourself (1 line each).

Hey, I've been looking around to find out how to get this game loaded onto my dedi but I couldn't find any info on it. How do I select the mod the to run?

Simply put the iwd file into your m2demo folder.

 

If you want your server to show custom gametype in the server list, put the file in

iw4mdir/mods/xxx/

where iw4mdir is where your server files are and xxx is the gametype you want your server to show in the server list (in this case sth. like "Random gun game"). Then add +set fs_game mods/xxx to your server launch parameters.

The file is in the m2demo folder, the game files are being written to the correct mods directory but still nothing. I even went in and looked in the console.log in that mod directory and it doesn't show that file being accessed.

you only need one of the two files (either in m2demo or mods/...). Try adding inverted commas to your parameter

+set fs_game "mods/..."
