[ Sorry for anyone who have already saw this i need to post another one because the post got outdated and nobody replyed me again]

 

So i have this so stupid console problem in every single game with the tilde key i can't open it i have the US keyboard layout so don't say press the bla bla button i have pressed all the button on my keyboard it doesn't works sadly = ( so i went inside my Congfig mp and change bind toggleconsole to p or u when i changed it it says that

 

*unknown cmd to toggleconsole* = ( now does anyone here knows that is there anyway to change the console to some other keys without this problem i think its because of i have the language change in my keyboard so when i press the tilde key the language changes but the it doesn't toggleconsole = ( so please anyone help me i really need console for demo record and all those fun stuff

Try deleting "config_m2.cfg" from "players" folder. As you should know, that will reset your IW4M configs. And with your configs reset, the key to open the console should be the default one (I believe it's ~ on US layout keyboards).

If that doesn't fix the issue, open a text document and try ~ key there, to make sure that the key is working, and that the keyboard layout is being properly recognized by windows.

Edit config_m2.cfg with Notepad++ then search for toggleconsole replace the key that's bonded to something else.

You are right. No matter what you change ~ key to it always stays on it. So.. you either have to live with or PM NTA about it.
