I believe this happens when you play "legacy" servers

no it s just on the private match

while in the dedi servers it tells me fetching playlists!

ensure both you and your private match friend update to the latest version of 4D1

Are you both sure you're using 4D1 and not the steam version or the old aIW client?

im having the same problem with my friends , it says that my playlist data is newer than their playlist data

Well since 4D1 does not provide matchmaking, I don't know if it supplies a playlist fast file. If not, then updating is useless. I believe in zone/English, there is a file called. "mp_playlists.ff", or something similar. Make sure you and the host are using the same version of that file.
