I deleted MW2, when i was drunk. (Ye, I know, how funny.)

 

Now I downloaded it again and patched it.

When I open the game I get this error: Could not load localization.txt

 

Is there any fix for it?

Then you have some broken files.. you put localization.txt in your \mw2\ folder right? Where it shows all files and all folders.

I got it fixed. I'm using now the old aIW Folder. Didn't know that it works.

Anyways, it's better now, because i have the game now in english and my steam version is german. :evil:

Well that was why.. the localization.txt was in English. If you want to use your other folder try opening localization.txt and rename the first line "english" to "german"

I got it fixed. I'm using now the old aIW Folder. Didn't know that it works.

I tried that aswell, but that didn't work.
