Опубликовано:

Hey guys,

I'm planning on upgrading the graphics in my htpc but I have no clue which one to choose. So I need a low profile card. Under 70$ please! And the current cards im looking at is a gt 430 1 gb ddr3, radeon HD 6450 1 or 2gb ddr3, gt 520 1 gb ddr3 and hd 5450 cause its cheap :P Which one of these get around 60 fps on mw2? If you have these cards, can you tell me what fps you're getting please?

Not many cards that would perform at playable rates for you... save up for a GTX 550Ti it's roughly ~130$ and it runs MW3 at Max even at a GTX 460 should run it at high. But it's all preference such as what resolution you want to play at and how much detail you want.

The 6450 will get 20 fps on maximum at 1920x1200.

The GT 430 1GB will run at 27 fps at maximum on 1920x1200.

I can't find any MW2 benchmarks for the 5450 and the GT 520 but expect them to be around the same lines.

For your question about which one would get 60 fps, none at high settings. All of them at minimum @ 640x480.

On the other hand, why would you game on a HTPC?

If you can find a GTS450 for that cheap (I did, know where to look), it's amazing for the price. No idea whether that works with your setup, however...

the problem with that is that i live in Canada and the hardware stores in my city don't have the gts250 or gts450 for sale anymore...

@Yuki Nagato, those benchmarks were recorded with absolute max settings. 1. I'm using a 20'' 1600x900 resolution monitor. 2. The settings they used were absolute max with 4x AA which I would never really use because of the frame rate dip.

I'm also checking out the HD 6670 which costs 104$ here compared to the 60$ GT 430. Do you think its worth 2/3 of the price more?

Well, you didn't state which settings you would want to play on, so I automatically went with the highest settings.

The GT 430 seems to be better in MW2.
