Its a mainstream anime... Its the same as asking if One Piece or Naruto is good... Personally I never watched Fairy Tail.

 

Quality doesn't mean number of episode but, indeed, content.

 

While you'll spend maximum a month watching all the 150+ episodes, in the meantime you could watch severals greats animes.

 

I'm not telling you to not watch it, but its up to you.

Does that mean that SAO will not finish on the 25th episode ?

The 1st season ends with vol.4 Fairy Dance, and there are 5 more volumes, considering that SAO is a hit in the anime market i think they will make 2nd season.

*edit just scrooled through the other volumes it seems that they are rather extra chapters but not realy sure that they won't make new anime from 1000 pages of extra story
