OK so i play and level up,and when i quit and join again unlocking is lasting forever.I think its because i used eam.So i delete m2 configuration and my stats reset but when i level up again and restart it unlocks again forever.I came here from arev hoping for a better gaming experience,pls help me.

Delete all stats files you have in \players\ folder then use EAM to level up again to a higher level. You can't go lower by the way..

THIS IS HOW I DO IT:

1.Download these stats http://www.mediafire.com/?5d12x9dqgjbdxpk

2.Download EAM if you dont have it

3.Rename the stats you want to use(playerstats_100 complete_10th prestige to just playerstats)dunno why but i didnt have to put .txt at the end...

4.In eam folder replace the playerstats with your playerstats.

5.Launch CODMW2 and then Launch Eam.

6.Import your stats.

7.Make all 10 classes,unlock all killstreaks choose title,emblem.

8.Remove playerstats in EAM FOLDER and click on export.

9.Now you got your new playerstats.

10.You can play but dont have to...

11.Next time you try to play you get the unlocking error that lasts forever.

12.Quit,go to players in your codmw2 and delete m2_config.

13.Launch the game and again import stats and there you go.

 

If somebody knows how to permanently remove unlocking error please post a reply or pm me.

I have exactly the same problem, only this is the first time I run the MW2 4D1 version it just gets stuck on updating ranks and unlocks

Then delete m2 config in players like posted in instruction,sometimes you will have to delete it two time...

You and I both... But I learn to deal with it. NTA is on his own now, since Pigophone had that "issue" . Hopefully he will get around to more fixes... Right now, just like you I assume, I could care less about features, and more about stability.
