Since I'm not getting any answers down @ BigBrotherBot's Forums I thought I gave it a shot here.

Here's my issue:

I have double, triple, quadra checked the password, the ports and it's all fine. The server is online, up and running. Changes maps, people login, play, logout etc. B3 just doesn't like me I guess?

And my Server.cfg rcon pw line is:

???? Why is password INSIDE the quotes?

In the original file it's not.

im just started with b3. Maybe you know where I can find my b3.log file?? In the tutorials on youtube they have it allready but I can't find it anywhere. Any idea?

Sorta older thread but if you're running a game mod you need to point b3 to the game log file in the mods folder.

I found it, it was called b3.sql ...

 

but now i see the message 'getaddrinfo failed'. I'm sure I set the right IP-adress. What can I do?

Have you checked if the port is correctly forwarded ..... I was having the same problem and I had to change my internal Ip Address from Dynamic to Static ... You can use this simple program to to set a Static Ip

After you have successfully installed and set an static ip Set the port that you forwarded to that IP...

 

When your Finished doing that simply change this

192.168.1.2

 

to the ip address that you get from the static ip program....

Well, my guess goes for some messed up config with rcon info on b3.xml.

You didn't post that part, but it's an important part. Set the rcon ip to localhost (127.0.0.1) and make sure that the rcon password and server port are correctelly set on b3.xml

I downloaded the Portforward Setup Static IP but I'm afraid If I click on 'apply changes' because I don't know how I can retrieve my normal IP back.

No... that's completelly messed up...

Here, grab my b3.xml template from the attachment.

Replace data between "[ stuff ]" with your information.

Right click on the file, "open with", then choose "windows explorer".

That's why I used zip and not rar. So that you can open it without aditional software.

Also, you can use 7-zip for compressed archives, wich is freeware.

I can't open it with Internet Explorer...

 

And I just downloaded 7zip but i only have an .exe and a .msi.... not the program itself.

As far as I can see the only major problem there is the Connection to your MySql Database..

What Database host are you using Xampp or Wamp ???

 

It is completely safe....... After you have pressed "Apply Changes", A button will appear asking you if you want to change back to Dynamic IP,

I must know though... Are you wishing to play on your server from the Host-Computer or Another computer in your home ?

It's "windows explorer", NOT "internet explorer"

Also, for 7-zip, you have to install it... then you right click the file, "open with", then you select the application, wich is 7zFM.exe

I have both Xampp and Wamp installed but for the database I use Wampserver.

 

The game server don't belong to me. It's running at someone else's home. But we had a good b3 running a while ago and that was also from someone else so i suggest that don't have to be a problem?

Check your plugins, because some of the plugins aren't loading. Mind pasting the b3.log in pastebin?

Go to your B3 folder; there should be a b3.log somewhere;

open it with notepad or any other text editor, copy everything, go to pastebin.com and share the link here
