Is it possible for me to copy the MW2 Steam Files from my bigbrothers computer and use them?

depends how you want to "use" them?

IW4M will supposedly check your Steam account to see if you own MW2, so that won't work. You'll need to have Steam installed and you'll need to be logged into an account that owns MW2.

As I understood it's a one time activation so once you have proved your MW2 is legit on time it'll let you use IW4M normally with steam our without it

Supposedly you will be able to copy MW2 to another folder and play. IW4M is supposed to be able to check Steam to see if you have a legit copy.

It will be like aIW, in a separate folder and all, but it will navigate to your steam Dir. and check your licensing info. It wont touch your original steam files (if I'm correct, no one really knows because it hasn't been released yet, my Intel is from the previous posts... try searching...)
