I Want to make a montage from a 360. Where do I start?

Опубликовано:

I'm thinking about making a montage from some of my clips from black ops and mw3 on the 360 and I've never made a montage before so where do i start? :?

Could tell me some "equipment" I would need to get to do this? Something not extremely expensive, but if you need to drop the "extremely" from that description in order to get a decent quality montage that's okay. I'd like to add some pretty cool effects though too, so keep that in mind.

I also want to intergrate music into my clips. I'm sure there's some montage experts out there for the xbox 360 and it'd be an extraordinary help to take some time out of your day to help me.

Thanks,lawler1337

Uhm you can't make montages without having expensive hardware. To record HD gameplays from console you will have to buy a PVR. A hauppauge hd pvr for example.

Or, you can use built-in mw3 renderer to upload videos on youtube, download files from there and then edit with after effects or sth.

If you want HD, you'll need to fork over about $200 USD for an HD Capture card.

-The Elgato Game Capture is the latest one and is peaking popularity at the moment. It supports HDMI and plugs in through USB 2.0

-The Hauppauge HD PVR captures through Component/YPrPb, supports up to 1080i (I recommend 720p for higher framerate, however.), and connects to your PC through USB 2.0

-Black Magic Design offers three. different versions of their capture card. One version connects through USB 3.0, another connects through PCIe, and the last through Thunderbolt. These all use HDMI

If you're fine with SD quality and a lot of criticism on how bad your quality is/how it's not up to par with others, you can go a different route by buying a Dazzle Capture Card for around $50-80 USD.

For software, the most common programs used are Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe After Effects. Most people obtain these through completely "legal" ways. arrrrrggghhhhhhhh

However, if you want to buy them both, it could cost you about $1600 USD.

Thanks for all your responses they've taken me a long way, some less than others *cough*xaxxon666*cough*

But anyway, I am still wondering if you use a pvr such as a Avermedia Game Capture HD can you record hd when you are using a NON-HD tv and are using composite cables? I have already sent a message regarding this to The_InHuman but if anyone else out there knows please share your knowledge with me.

Thanks,lawler1337 :D
