C:\Documents and Settings\*****\Local Settings\Temp\iw4m_install\7za.exe is not a valid win32 application.

I tried everything from deleting my temp file through putting the things from LaunchComponents.zip into the folder with no success. When I launch LaunchIW4M.exe I just get another error msg:

system.nullreferenceexceptionobject reference not set to an instance of an object

at DBNUpdater.Utilities.URLExists(string url)

at DBNUpdater.Updater.(random box) (cachecontentfile (another random box))

 

Using Windows XP.

as far as i know 4d1 needs windows 7, but im not sure. just wait for a tech support to come look at this

Well no, it was working a week before perfectly fine. Dunno what could've gone wrong. Any more ideas? Been playing on the "other" provider's version but that sucks, I wanna play on 4D1 again.

I'd appreciate if someone uploaded a folder with the files the IW4M installer downloads and installs (.dlls and other stuff) to see if it works. Mediafire preferably.

Tried but it didn't quite work.

The problem's not with the game files but with the installer/updater/my OS.

So again I'd like to ask if someone could send me every non-folder file from their MW2 install dir. so I could manually put everything needed for 4d1 installed. Also from the APPDATA folder the IW4M folder. Please, I'd appreciate it.
